SBSI (SMALL BUSINESS SUPPORT INITIATIVE PROGRAM)
Purpose
To give small businesses access to specialized expertise in 4 areas of activity considered to be major issues in Quebec's economy in order to increase their productivity and profitability and ensure their sustainability. The issues are:
INNOVATION :

Clearly difine a business' innovation needs

Foster a culture of innovaiton in the business

Develop a sustainable innovation strategy in the business
SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT :

Prepare a sustainable development plan

Identify the most effective and relevant technologies and procedures

Carry out projects to reduce pollution
BUSINESS SUCCESSION AND TRANSFERT :

Identify successors and help them with acquisition

Encourage potential sellers to begin the transfer process

Identify needs for assistance in the transfer process
INTEGRATION OF COMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGIES (e-commerce) :

Identify relevant technologies

Develop an online marketin strategy

Use social networks effectively

Set up a sustainable e-commerce site
Contribution
The non refundable contribution paid by the SADC is used to cover costs of intervention by specialized resources, in a business. Deliverables will take the form of business projects aimed at producing diagnoses and action plans as well as implementing certain special activities.
Alloawable expenses
Allowable expenses are thos directly linked to a business project in one of the 4 areas of activity:
Profesionnal fees;
Purchase of documentation;
Travel expenses of SADC representatives and the consultant.
DURATION OF THE PROGRAM
From April 1st 2016 to March 31 2019.
